The South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen is the first hospital in Northern Ireland with entire single room en-suite accommodation for patients. There are 232 beds in total. The hospital delivers a wide range of services including Child Care, Critical Care Unit, Inpatients, Outpatients, A&E, Maternity, Surgical Theatres, Allied Health Professionals, Education, etc. The Education centre is a teaching hospital for Queens University and The Royal College of Surgeons. The hospital also comprises a Key Workers Accommodation on the grounds.
South West Acute Hospital has been designed to provide an environmentally-sensitive and sustainable solution. The facility incorporates sustainable features and technologies including, renewable energy, passive H&V features and site-sensitive design.

The BEMS project was successfully delivered on schedule by Sirus Engineers and Sirus has carried out BEMS maintenance providing planned preventative checks and 24-hour emergency call-out service for the system since the construction of the hospital in 2012.
